Why is the debit feature going away on the Enhanced Raider One Card?

The Department of Education has issued new rules regarding cash management of Title IV funds (financial aid) which has resulted in our financial partner, U.S. Bank, withdrawing from our current agreement.


DO I EVEN NEED AN OCC RAIDER ONE CARD?

Yes. The OCC Raider One Card is still your official student identification card. It is required for Library access as well as copying/printing on campus.


HOW DO I GET MY REFUND AFTER THE DEBIT MASTERCARD ACCOUNT HAS CLOSED?

Refunds will be issued by check. Or, if you sign up at MyOCC, the refund can be issued via direct deposit/ACH to your personal bank account.


WHY SHOULD I SIGN UP FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT?

Direct deposit is the fastest, most secure way to receive your refund. By electing this option, your refund is directly deposited into your checking or savings account at the financial institution of your choice. This is faster than waiting for a check to arrive via U.S. Mail.


HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT?

Login to MyOCC and select the "Students" tab. Under the heading, "Financial Profile," select "Bank Information." On this page, enter your bank routing number and your bank account number. You will also select checking or savings account in the proper field and click "Submit." An automated email will be sent to you confirming you have added or changed your bank account.


WHO DO I CALL FOR HELP WITH MY DEBIT MASTERCARD ACCOUNT?

WILL MY DEBIT MASTERCARD ACCOUNT STILL WORK AT OTHER PLACES BESIDES OCC?

For now, your debit account will continue to work as it has in the past, however, June 29, 2016 will be the last day to use it. The debit MasterCard account with U.S. Bank will close June 30, 2016.


WILL MY WINTER 2016 REFUND GO TO THE DEBIT MASTERCARD ACCOUNT?

Yes, refunds will continue to be processed and issued to the debit MasterCard account with U.S. Bank until March 31, 2016. Keep in mind, however, that the last day you can use the debit card will be June 29, 2016.


DO I NEED THE OTHER CARD NOW?

No, you do not need to replace your Enhanced Raider One Card.  The iROC Cash account (green stripe) will continue to function for all on-campus transactions (printing, copying, purchases in the Raiders Stores or Cafés).


CAN I STILL GET A REPLACEMENT DEBIT CARD?

OCC will continue to replace the Enhanced Debit Raider One Card until February 19, 2016.  If a replacement card is needed after that date, you will have to contact U.S. Bank Cardholder Services at 855-613-9098 to request a replacement ATM card, or a check for the balance in the debit account.


IS THE REPLACEMENT CARD FROM U.S. BANK THE SAME AS THE RAIDER ONE CARD?

No.  The replacement card from U.S. Bank is an ATM card that gives you access to the funds in your debit MasterCard account.  A replacement Raider One Card is requested at the Cashier/Business Office window.  The cost for a replacement card is $10.


CAN I STILL USE THE ATM'S ON CAMPUS WITH THE REPLACEMENT CARD FROM U.S. BANK?

Yes, the replacement card provided by U.S. Bank will work in the ATM's on OCC's campuses until June 30, 2016.
