COM 320: Business Communication Methods | 3 credits

Students are presented with a variety of rhetorical scenarios designed to develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Assignments familiarize students with models for several common business documents including emails, memos, executive summaries, newsletters, and formal blog posts. Students will learn how to deliver both good and bad news in a business communication. The emphasis is on writing and public speaking. 

FIN 315: Financial Management | 3 credits

This course provides an overview of financial management analysis, planning, and decision-making functions for an organization. Topics include financial analysis and planning, working capital management, cost of capital and capital budgeting, stock and bond valuation, and both short- and long-term financing. Students make extensive use of a financial calculator for analysis and problem-solving.

    *COM 320 is required for all Bachelor’s Degree Programs. FIN 315 is required for all Bachelor’s Degree Programs except Information Technology.
