What's My Password? Tutorial

If you can't remember your password, click the What's My Password? link from Student Menu or the Main Menu. On the What's My Password? page, use one or more of the options provided to help you determine your password.

Click an option below to reveal more information:

I might remember: Show my password hint.

If you have a password hint on file, you can use that to help you remember your password. To display your password hint, fill in your User Name then click Submit.

I don't remember: Reset my password.

If you have forgotten your password or if you want to change your password click the Reset my password link then follow the instruction below to have a new temporary password sent to you via email.

On the Reset My Password page:

  • Fill in your last name.
  • Fill in either your Social Security number or your 7-digit OCC ID.
  • Click Submit.

If you have a secondary email address on file with Oakland Community College you will see it displayed on the Select an Email Address page. Click Submit if you wish to continue.

If you do not have a secondary email address on file, follow the instructions on the page.

On the Reset Password Confirmation page, click OK to have your temporary password sent to the email address shown.

I'm New to MyOCC: Setup my password?

If you are new to Oakland Community College, you should have received an email with the subject 'MyOCC Information'. This email contains your temporary password which you can use on your first log in. If you have not received this email, you can have a new temporary password sent to you via email by following the instructions below.

Click the Setup my password? link. On the Reset My Password page:

  • Fill in your last name.
  • Fill in either your Social Security number or your 7-digit OCC ID.
  • Click Submit.
