Course Description:
This course is designed to provide baseline and advanced skillsets for officers/agents to conduct high-threat vehicle interdiction operations.
Day 1 – Deployment from Vehicles, Approach, and Vehicle Clearance
- Intro to Vehicle Assaults (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Formations, Approach and verbiage
- Interdiction Planning (Interdiction points)
- Skill Baseline
- Deployment from Vehicle
- Vehicle Approach, Positions & Clearance (With & Without Shields)
Day 2 – Linear Assault & Tactics, Techniques & Procedure
- Linear Assault (Buses)
- Vehicle Formations (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Breaking contact & link-up procedures
- Final Training Exercises: “Force-on-Force” Scenarios
Required Equipment
Primary/Secondary Weapon system, Ballistic Shield (Optional), Weapon sling (rifle) & Retention; Duty Vest; Belt; Operational loadout, Clear (approved for range) eye protection; Long sleeves, Gloves (optional); Manual Breaching Equipment (Optional); Additional Supplemental Equipment for Team (Robots, Drones); “Chem lights” Blue / Red (Optional); Notepad, pen and Planning Aids for Day 3 (Optional)
