Program outcomes represent broad areas of knowledge and skills developed over the
duration of the program through a wide range of courses and experiences. These learning outcomes represent what a student should be able to know, think, or do upon successful completion
of their program at Oakland Community College.
Students will be able to describe the historical and evolving concept of homeland
security within context of national security.
Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge in terrorism financing by identifying
the ways in which terrorists raise, store, and transfer funds.
Students will be able to determine best practices for successful security planning
and threat assessment.
