four transfer scholarships that range from $3500 to $6500 annually and are renewable when you meet eligibility

Virtual Michigan State is offering both virtual and in person visits for transfer students.
Our in-person visit includes a 30 minute admissions presentation on transferring to
MSU and following the presentation is a 90 minute outside walking tour of campus.
If you can't make it in person, students can attend our similar virtual transfer program
for an overview of Michigan State University, details on transferring credits and
the admissions process. Following this overview is a student-led virtual tour of MSU's
campus.
In-person transfer programs are held on Thursdays each week. Check availability. Virtual programs are held once per month, and you can register for a program.

Individual In-Person Visits
In-person campus visits begin with an information session presented by an admission
counselor followed by a walking tour of campus led by a current student. Visits typically
last two hours and are available Monday through Friday. We invite you to view the calendar and schedule a time that works best for you.
Virtual Visits
The University of Detroit Mercy’s Virtual Information Sessions are designed for prospective
transfer students to learn more about the University and the next steps in the enrollment
process. Interactive sessions are offered every Monday and Thursday at 11:00 am and
4:00 pm. The live 20 minute sessions are conducted by a transfer admissions counselor.
We invite you to view the schedule and register or take a virtual tour of campus.
Nursing Information Meeting
Virtual sessions for the Part Time (PT) and Second-Degree Option (SDO) tracks, are
held monthly from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (except August and December). Detailed information
and a link will be provided when you register.
Scholarships
Academic Grants are awarded to all incoming transfer students based on cumulative GPA. Transfer academic
grants are automatically renewed each year for four years (eight semesters, Fall and
Winter) and range from $6,000 - $12,000 per year. Students transferring with 24+ credits
and a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher may qualify to be invited to compete for either
full-tuition scholarship opportunity: Jesuit Founders or Phi Theta Kappa.

Transfer Bridges to the University of Michigan is a program for students at Michigan
community colleges who want to study for two years at their local community college
and then transfer to U-M Ann Arbor’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts
(LSA) to complete their bachelor’s degree.
The program varies at each community college, but your participation in the program
opens up opportunities to engage with U-M co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities,
work with faculty mentors at U-M, and receive advising to help you map your transfer
plan. To see if Transfer Bridges is available at your school and what the program

The Transfer Bridges program is designed to help you prepare for applying to LSA.

The Community College Summer Institute (CCSI) ( June 4th – 6th, 2023) at the School of Information (SI) at the University
of Michigan welcomes community college students from all study backgrounds and experiences
to spend 3 days exploring the field of information science and the University of Michigan.
During the institute, students will participate in an array of sessions targeting
topics from information science to admissions and personal strengths. The institute
is FREE, and students, who complete the 3 days, will receive a stipend along with
priority consideration for admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Information. The
