How long does it take to get an automotive servicing degree?
There are 51 credit hours for program related courses and an additional 15 hours of
general education requirements for a total of 66 credit hours for the Associate in
Applied Science degree. Students who enroll full time and follow the program plan
typically complete in as little as two years. |
Does the program prepare students to become certified by the state of Michigan?
Yes, the program consists of ten specialized courses designed in accordance with the
mandatory Auto Mechanic Certification tests required for state licensure. |
Is there any time spent working in the laboratory?
Yes, a large portion of class time will be spent in the laboratory allowing the student
to gain valuable experience in an automotive servicing situation. |
