OCC Invites High School Seniors to Participate in National Signing Day Event April 17

Event Honors Students who Commit to a Career and Technical Education Program for Fall 2024 Semester

OCC is hosting its Second Annual National Signing Day event April 17 for high school seniors to sign a “Letter of Intent” to pursue a degree or certificate in one of the College’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs beginning the Fall 2024 semester.

The event mirrors the NCAA’s National Signing Day for students who commit to play sports in college. OCC is one of many community colleges around the country that will be hosting signing day ceremonies.

“This event is designed to honor students who plan to prepare for career and technical education and emphasizes OCC’s commitment to help students gain the skills necessary to prepare for a job in high demand occupations, “said Joseph Petrosky, Associate Provost of Academics and Workforce. “
