Apply to Graduate

At the end of each semester, Oakland Community College awards diplomas to students who complete their degree/certificate requirements. Candidates for graduation need to Apply to Graduate. Students may apply to graduate from the active program on their record. 

Graduation applications must be received by the day before the start of the next semester.

You will receive an email after you apply to graduate detailing the post application process. Degree audits are completed after the semester ends which can take 6-8 weeks. Diplomas are ordered for students who have completed graduation requirements.

You can expect the eDiploma and physical diploma approximately 10 weeks after the semester ends.

Oakland Community College may automatically award degree(s) that you earn. If you wish to opt-out of automatic awards, please visit the Enrollment Services office at any OCC campus or email [email protected] from your OCC email address.
