Officers make routine and split-second decisions and the consequences can be life-altering. This is particularly true when the decision confronting the officer is whether to use force, especially deadly force.

This 8-hour session connects brain research directly to decision-making in law enforcement. This fast-paced and interactive training explores decisions and judgment in the context of authority, the “objectively reasonable” standard of force, implicit bias, officer safety, de-escalation, and other fundamental concepts critical to surviving and excelling in law enforcement. The training content is updated regularly.
