Developing Defendable Psychomotor Skills Performance Measures
Instructor:
John G. Peters Jr., Ph.D. is the founder of the Institute for the Prevention of In-Custody Deaths, Inc. (IPICD). IPICD’s sole purpose to educate interested parties about arrest-related and incustody deaths. John G. Peters Jr., Ph.D. is a former police administrator, police officer and current international trainer.
Course Description:
Through the use of lecture, PowerPoint, and video this hands-on program will teach how to write quantifiable and court-defensible psychomotor skill performance objectives (regardless of the psychomotor skill), and how to evaluate those skills. Sample psychomotor skill performance measures will be provided in addition to the ones developed during the program.
NOTE: You will be asked to bring a psychomotor skill lesson plan with you.
