Futures for Frontliners offers free tuition to attend OCC for in-district Michiganders who do not have a college degree and worked in essential industries from April 1-June 30, 2020. You can use these funds to earn an associate degree or a certificate on a full-time or part-time basis while you continue to work.

The application period runs through December 31, 2020, and the funds can be used for classes beginning this winter semester.

Based on 2019-2020 average tuition costs from IPEDS (The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System), U.S. Department of Education. Comparison is only tuition and fees and does not include books, supplies and on/off-campus living costs.

OCC’s 2020-21 in-district and out-of-district total tuition and fees for 30 credits within 2 terms are $3,110 and $5,840 respectively.
