Oakland County’s “Tech Collaboration Series” will make a stop at Oakland Community College’s Royal Oak campus for a Nov. 6 event that will provide business leaders with insight on how they can take advantage of the College’s technical programs, resources and services.
The event is designed for Oakland County businesses in the IT and Computer Services, Robotics Integration and Engineering and Design industries.
During the event, OCC representatives will highlight the programs and resources available to support area businesses, including:
- Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Technology (EMIT) - Learn about the degrees and certificates available in the technical and skilled trades areas.
- Economic Workforce and Development – Get an overview of the short-term training, custom training solutions, and other ways for business and education to collaborate.
- Career Services – Understand how OCC’s Apprenticeship and Internship programs can help increase access to qualified job candidates.
- Information Technologies - Discover the breadth of information technology programs at the college including cybersecurity.
Facilitated roundtable discussions and networking will also be part of the event.
