Cooking 101: Kitchen Skill Development for Children 6-16 years old

Your child will learn the skills necessary to build a great relationship with food and cooking, including: proper use of knives and assorted kitchen hand tools, basic cooking terminology, reading and following recipes, and proper sanitation methods. Knives will be provided to those who do not bring their own.

ServSafe Certification Classes

This course is designed for food-service professionals. This course will prepare you for final examinations administered by the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. 

Successful completion of the program and exam (taken in class), you will be qualified to:

●  Train personnel in sanitation techniques, food borne illness, safety, personal hygiene, Inspections
●  Communicate with representatives of the health departments
●  Recognize sanitation deficiencies and initiate improvements
