Halloween Cookies Creations for Adults and Kids 10-17 years old

Learn decorating techniques using royal icing on sugar cookies including filling and decorating icing, coloring, and pastry bag use. We will cover techniques and tips on baking and decorating. Each student leaves with their own decorated cookies in this hands-on workshop. Cookies and decorating icing provided. Halloween Cookies that will be made: Sunflowers, pumpkins, plaque, candy corn and owl cookies. Hair back and covered, apron or covering, no loose clothing, non-slip closed toe shoes.

Cooking 101

Cooking 101 | Fundamentals for Children 8-16 years old

In this beginning cooking class, your child will learn the skills necessary to build a great relationship with food and cooking. They will learn how to properly use knives and assorted kitchen hand tools, the basic knife cuts and how to use them in cooking. They will also learn the basic cooking terminology. We will discuss how to read and follow basic recipes. We learn about proper sanitation methods and how to apply them to cooking. Feel free to bring your own kid’s knives, otherwise knives will be provided. Dress appropriately. Hair back and covered, apron or covering, no loose clothing, non-slip, closed toe shoes, no high heels.

Our expert chef instructors will guide you through the process of assembling a stunning charcuterie board, complete with an array of cured meats, cheeses, fruits, and more, all paired with the perfect glass of wine. Bring your own platter and Chef (French) knife to class. You must be 21 to attend this class. Bring a Driver’s license or ID to class.
