OCC Foundation

The Oakland Community College Foundation is a non-profit organization created to raise funds to advance the mission of the College and its students. Established in 1979, the Foundation helps support countless students achieve academic success while enhancing the quality of education they receive through scholarships, equipment and program development.  The OCC Foundation is located at the Doris Mosher Foundation House near the George A. Bee Administrative Center (“District Office”) in Bloomfield Hills. It is governed by its Board of Directors, comprised of volunteer community leaders, representatives of the OCC Board of Trustees, administration and faculty.

George Bee donated his Bloomfield Hills home and guest house to OCC in 1965, the same year the College received its charter. The Bee guest house is the home of the OCC Foundation. The College commemorated the Foundation’s anniversary and marked the re-naming of the building to the “Doris Mosher Foundation House” with a special celebration in 2009.
