OAKLAND COUNTY, Michigan – November 20, 2018 – At its November meeting, Oakland Community College’s Board of Trustee Chair John McCulloch swore in two returning board members with their reelection to office. Their new terms begin January 1, 2019.
Elected to new six-year terms are:
Pam Davis of Clawson and current board vice chair. Davis will be entering her 24th year of service on the board. She is currently the longest standing member of the board, first elected in 1994.
Christine O’Sullivan of Madison Heights and current board secretary. O’Sullivan will be entering her second term of office. She is a recent student and the youngest member of the board.
Oakland Community College is governed by a seven-person Board of Trustees. The members of the board are elected on a non-partisan, at-large basis by voters living within the college district, an area that generally coincides with the boundaries of Oakland County. Trustees serve as volunteers and are not paid for their services.
