OAKLAND COUNTY, Michigan –Water. It’s needed for all living things and Kayce Duggan has dreams of making it available to everyone.
“I want to be an environmental engineer and study water. It’s an essential resource and it’s running out. My goal in coming to OCC is to tap into a great start, transfer and go onto graduate school,” Duggan said.
She began her journey in OCC’s math department and graduated in May with an Associate degree in Applied Science.
“I’ve had a really beautiful experience at OCC. The professors have been very caring and know what they’re doing,” Duggan said. “I have a lot of respect for the time faculty put into every student and it shows.”
She believes OCC’s award-winning faculty strive to prepare each student for future success.
“OCC was the first step toward getting my degree,” Duggan said. “Now I’m going on to the University of Michigan and I’m confident that I will be successful because of Oakland Community College.”
