OCC’s Oakland Fire Training Institute is the only one in Michigan to be both nationally—and internationally—accredited. CREST, home to the college’s fire, police, K-9, 911 and EMS programs, is the largest provider of training for emergency response teams in Oakland county. About 90% of first responders in the county are trained at OCC.
