Men’s Basketball

Djokaj most recently was the head coach for the boys’ varsity basketball team at De Lasalle Collegiate High School in Warren, where he led his team to the 2022 DI State Championship. He was also named 2022 Coach of the Year by the Michigan High School Coaches Association and the Detroit News, along with numerous other area sports organizations. He is also the Head Coach for the Boys Under 14 team with the elite American Athletic Union (AAU) program R.E.A.C.H. Legends.

“I am thrilled to be named the head men’s basketball coach at OCC and plan to develop a program focused around student athlete development on and off the court,” said Djokaj. “We will strive to achieve common goals through team success, which will ultimately lead to our student athletes consistently having opportunities to advance to four-year programs, while winning championships in the process.”

Women’s Basketball

Belf, Jr. was OCC’s assistant women’s basketball coach for the 2023-24 season. He has extensive college coaching experience, including serving as assistant coach at his alma mater Albion College. In addition, Belf was head coach of women’s basketball at Henry Ford College, Madonna College and Kentucky Wesleyan College.

“I am pleased and honored to accept the position of OCC’s women's head basketball coach. It is important to me to continue the trajectory of the program and build on our success,” said Belf, Jr. “I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to inspire and develop young women as athletes and leaders. We will be committed to an exhilarating brand of basketball that will make us enticing to watch this winter.”
