Celebrate OCC Basketball Teams’ Home Opener at the Raider Fan and Food Rally Nov. 7

Save Nov. 7 on your calendar for the Raider Fan and Food Rallyto celebrate the 2023-24 Season home opener for OCC’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. The pre-game rally will begin at 3 p.m. on the Auburn Hills Campus and feature free food and lots of fun activities. Stay for the basketball games beginning at 5:30 p.m. to watch OCC’s Men’s and Women’s teams take on Owens Community College. 

Raider Rally

The pre-game rally and the basketball games are FREE and open to all OCC students, employees, family and friends.  

Jamie Corona, OCC’s Athletic Director, said this is a good chance for everyone to support the team and see how much fun these games are. 

“Our games are fun, fast paced and family friendly with lots of activities during the halftimes,” she said.  “As the home opener, it will be a great chance to get a glimpse of what the season is going to look like.”  

The Raider Fan and Food Rally schedule includes: 

3 - 5:30 p.m. 

5:30 p.m. 

  • OCC Women’s Basketball vs. Owens CC 

7:30 p.m. 

  • OCC Men’s Basketball vs. Owens CC 

This event is FREE, with a suggested donation of non-perishable food items to help stock the Orchard Ridge Student Food Pantry. No alcohol is allowed on campus. In case of inclement weather, pre-game activities will be moved inside the Auburn Hills Gym.
